Description

Hot Runner System

The valve gate Hot Runner System is used for plastic parts that require perfect finishing on the injection point and when there's a need to sequence the injection, fundamental for technical parts on electronically industry, automobile, etc.

Available on two drive versions: hydraulic and pneumatic.

Main advantages:
  • Pressure lower than in conventional injection system.
  • Better injection flow and less shearing of the material.
  • On the sequencial injection, the weld line turns almost imperceptible.
  • Essential for parts with different volumetric mass.

Mounting Type

There are two ways to assemble the VALVE GATE Hot Runner System:


Hot Half

Plates with precise adjustments that protects and guarantee the integrity of the Hot Runner System. The manufacturing of the Hot Half goes through AN intense quality control in a temperature controlled room, assembled by our experts.


Facility (Drop in)

Drop in system, that integrates all the parts of DRIVING, electrical power and cooling, making it easier the assembly and maintenance of the Hot Runner System. That way, you don't need to worry with the machining of the system on the mold.

Series

Polimold has many dimensions of NOZZLES for application according to the REQUIREMENT of the product. Get to know the available series on the market:

    Polimold Solution: On this case, we needed a central valve gate injection, aligned machine nozzle.

    We developed a single valve gate nozzle where the actuation's valve pin was placed on the side, avoiding the support to be on the same position of the feeder bushing (injection press barrel).

    Polimold SolutionFor this project, the main objective was to place the injection points in a way to minimize the KNIT lines.

    Based on this, we developed a valve gate injection bush exclusively for small diameters, resulting in a perfect finishing and reduced injection's pressure.

    Polimold Solution:On this project, the main need was to place the points to reduce the seam lines.

    After the analysis of the cavity's flow by our engineer team, we created the best possible flow condition to develop a part with less APPARENT seam lines.

    Polimold Solution:The client requested to reduce the injection's pressure and therefore reduced the size of the injector machine. The initial project was made by 6 injection points (client's suggestion) and after the flow's analysis, we detected that this layout would require a 2.500 tons machine, which was impracticable for our client.

    After new studies and tests, we concluded that using 11 INJECTION points, the pressure would be reduced in a way that he could use a 1.600 ton machine, reaching his goal of reducing costs on the injection.
